Voluntary services year in the fields of education & outreach, archive and project management (m/f/d)
Period: August/ September 2026 - July/August 2027
The Pina Bausch Foundation's projects are all about the artist Pina
Bausch and her legacy. We want as many people as possible to get to know
and experience Pina Bausch's art through our projects.
If you
do a Voluntary Service Year with us, you can contribute to these
projects. Together we will discuss exactly what you will be doing as
volunteer within the Pina Bausch Foundation. We are interested: What do
you enjoy? What would you like to learn? What would you like to work on?
What ideas do you have? Together we will find areas of work and
activities that suit you and your interests.
You can work with us in the following areas:
- Education & Outreach
- Project management
- (Digital) Archive
- Administration
- Communication
As a volunteer you could do the following things, for example:
- You can help us plan, organise and carry out a school project in Wuppertal. Here we will plan together with pupils, teachers and artists how dance and art can play a bigger role at the school in the future. We then want to realise our joint ideas.
- You can gain an insight into the project management of international cultural projects and accompany and support us in the organisation.
- You will familiarise yourself with the world of Pina Bausch and support the staff from the Pina Bausch Archives in their work with photos, videos and other materials.
- You will be part of the internal working group for sustainability and contribute your thoughts and ideas for a sustainable, meaningful further development of everyday work and projects at the Pina Bausch Foundation.
- You can contribute to the content of our website and think together with us about what young people need in order to find access to the art of Pina Bausch.
- You will work with us to develop new formats for our social media channels and help us to implement them.
- And much more!
Basically, working with us as a volunteer means:
- Personal initiative: You bring ideas and energy to make the most of your Voluntary Services Year.
- Independent working.
- Working in a team: All projects at the Foundation are team projects. We develop project ideas together and implement them together.
- Working at your desk: reading and writing emails, thinking up and preparing project ideas, researching on the internet and in the digital archive
- And much more!

Aufgaben
