"I had a lot of fun with Christian when he was in the company. He was adept at dancing a sort of French swing-style. I loved dancing with him at parties. We often went to Düsseldorf on the weekends to check out the clubs, but we always returned very late on the train to Wuppertal exhausted and disheartened. We even tried German language classes together, but attempting to learn German grammar in our break between Pina’s intense rehearsals proved too much and we gave up on that too! Christian is a beautiful chic French man and a fantastic dancer."
