Jan Minařík worked as a dancer in Wuppertal from 1970. In 1973, Pina Bausch took him on in her newly formed Tanztheater Wuppertal. He was part of the ensemble until 2000. He was involved in the creation of 36 of Pina Bausch's pieces.

Nazareth Panadero is a dancer in the Tanztheater Wuppertal from 1979 to 2021. She was involved in the development of 19 pieces by Pina Bausch. Today she dances as a guest for the Tanztheater.

Jean Laurent Sasportes is a dancer at the Tanztheater Wuppertal from 1979 to 1996. He is involved in the creation of 10 pieces by Pina Bausch. He also takes on roles in other pieces. Later he dances many times as a guest with the Tanztheater.
